Modified applications

The following applications have been modified:
CENTROID

COMPADD
A bug has been fixed which could produce incorrect WCS co-ordinates in the output NDF if the lower bounds of the input NDF were not (1, 1).

COMPAVE
A bug has been fixed which could produce incorrect WCS co-ordinates in the output NDF if the lower bounds of the input NDF were not (1, 1).

CONTOVER
CONTOVER has been scheduled for withdrawl at the next release of KAPPA, and a warning message is now displayed every time CONTOVER is run. Use "contour clear=no" instead to draw a contour map over an existing data picture.

CURSOR
A bug has been fixed which resulted in CURSOR running out of picture identifiers (and consequently aborting) if more than 40 positions were given.

DISPLAY
New Parameters KEY, KEYPOS and KEYSTYLE have been added, allowing DISPLAY to create a key containing a colour ramp in the same style as LUTVIEW.

DRAWSIG

EXP10
This command is now a synonym for expon base=10D0.

EXPE
This command is now a synonym for expon base=natural.

EXPON
Re-written to use NDF data structures.

FITSMOD
A new output Parameter EXISTS has been added to store the result of the final "Exist" operation.

GREYPLOT
GREYPLOT has been scheduled for withdrawl at the next release of KAPPA, and a warning message is now displayed every time GREYPLOT is run. DISPLAY can now produce a key to the colour table using the new KEY parameter, so there is no longer any real need for GREYPLOT.

HISTOGRAM

LINPLOT
A new Parameter LMODE has been added to allow the default limits for the vertical axis to be chosen in various ways (for instance using percentiles, multiples of the standard deviation, etc.).

LOG10
This command is now a synonym for logar base=10D0.

LOGAR
Re-written to use NDF data structures.

LOGE
This command is now a synonym for logar base=natural.

LUTVIEW

MLINPLOT

NORMALIZE

PIXDUPE

PSF

ROTATE

TURBOCONT
TURBOCONT has been scheduled for withdrawl at the next release of KAPPA, and a warning message is now displayed every time TURBOCONT is run. To retain TURBOCONT would require it to be converted to use PGPLOT /AST. This would slow it down so that it would offer little speed benefit over CONTOUR. In these days of higher powered workstatations the small difference in speed would not justify having two essentially identical applications.

VECPLOT

WCSALIGN
