DAT_PREC - Enquire storage precision

Description:

Enquire the number of basic machine units (bytes) used to store a single element of a primitive.

Invocation:

CALL DAT_PREC( LOC, NBYTE, STATUS )

Arguments:

LOC = CHARACTER * ( DAT__SZLOC ) (Given)

Primitive locator.

NBYTE = INTEGER (Returned)

Number of machine units.

STATUS = INTEGER (Given and Returned)

The global status.
