DAT_LEN
- Enquire primitive length
- Description:
- Enquire the length of a primitive. In the case of a character
object, this is the number of characters per element. For other
primitive types it is the number of bytes per element.
- Invocation:
- CALL DAT_LEN( LOC, LEN, STATUS )
- Arguments:

LOC = CHARACTER * ( DAT__SZLOC ) (Given)

Primitive locator.

LEN = INTEGER (Returned)
-
Number of bytes per element.

STATUS = INTEGER (Given and Returned)

The global status.
