FIO_ERASE - Delete a file

Description:

Delete the named file.

Invocation:

CALL FIO_ERASE( FILE, STATUS )

Arguments:

FILE = CHARACTER $*$ ( $*$ ) (Given)

Expression giving the name of the file to be deleted.

STATUS = INTEGER (Given and Returned)

The global status.
