Readout-noise
The readout-noise is the noise which is seen in the bias level. This is produced
by the on-chip amplifier and other sources of noise in the data transmission
before the signal is converted into a digital representation by the ADC.
Typically this can be represented by one value which is an estimate of the
standard deviation of the bias level values.
