The GIMP Plug-In Registry is a central repository for GIMP extentions. The available plugins provide everything from support for exotic file format (e.g. Adobe Photoshop) to interfacing with SANE. If you have a graphics problem that someone else might have faced, and you are considering using the GIMP, maybe you should look here before trying to write your own code to do the job.
