2 How_to_place_an_advertisement


E-mail your job notice to:

   announce@star.rl.ac.uk

stating until what date you would like the advertisement to appear.
We suggest that the advertisement itself be reasonably brief and
contain instructions for picking up additional details directly
from the advertiser's institution (preferably using anonymous FTP;
please also provide telephone and fax numbers, complete with
country code).

Starlink will reproduce in good faith notices received by e-mail
as long as they are authenticated by the name and institute of the
sender.  The Project reserves the right to choose whether or not to
publish the advertisement and to sub-edit as appropriate, without
introducing material or factual changes.  An advertisement can be
altered or withdrawn at any time at the request of the originator.
Starlink will aim to post new notices at least once a week.

2 Disclaimer

The Starlink Project cannot be held responsible for the advertisements
published here.  It is the advertiser's responsibility to ensure that
the content is accurate and legal.

The service is informal and does not claim to provide open publication
in the context of any national or international legislation (for
example concerning equal opportunity).
